Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
cGMP refers to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the FDA. cGMP provides for systems that assure proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities.
Many facilities currently manufacturing hand sanitizer are not cGMP compliant, as the FDA has a temporary moratorium on this requirement. HON-R is proud to be cGMP compliant. As a part of our compliance with cGMP:
-
HON-R tests all raw materials to ensure they are within required specifications
-
We use USP grade ethanol in our hand sanitizer that has been 3rd party tested
-
Risks associated product recalls, customer complaints, and impure materials are minimized by purchasing a cGMP compliant product
-
HON-R has an onsite lab, with a gas chromatograph, to ensure our products are on specification every time
